He was predeceased by: his parent H. B. Shirley; and his siblings, Janie Lee Brooks, Jimmy, Mac and Joe Shilrey.
He is survived by: his children, Katie Ward of Red Oak, Patton Shirley of Arlington, Garon Shirley of Paris and Kenneth Shirley; his siblings, Perry Shirley of Winnsboro, Garon Shirley of Cartwright, Lewis Shirley of Garland, H. B, Shirley Jr. of Conway, Jon Shirley of Winnsboro, Tim Shirley of Oklahoma and Elizibeth Shirley of Waynesboro, Mississippi; and his grandchildren, Michael, Dakota and Payton.
