He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Howell Watkins and Reba Green Watkins; his wife Judy Watkins; his children, Michael Watkins (Carolyn) of Fate, Tonya Slayton (Andy) of Hawkins and Erica Johns of Hawkins, Texas; and his grandchildren, Seth, Justin, Kati, Colby, Keele and Lauryn. He was also cherished by eight great- grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
The family is grateful and appreciative for the assistance of the Hawkins Volunteer Fire Department, that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Fire Department in the name of David Watkins and Family.
