She was predeceased by: her parents, Angris Tennyson and Evelyn Young Tennyson; her husband Raymond Hawkins; and her children, Alvin Louis Duncan, George Willy Duncan, Linda Joyce Duncan and Helen Duncan.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Wilma James, William Earl Duncan, Carolyn Duncan, Alvin Dewayne Duncan, Tonya Duncan and George Duncan Jr.. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
