“I loved my father and Jay was like a second father to me and I am not ashamed to say that I loved Jay Eudy. I know that you are all missing him already. I am sorry for your loss. He was truly a great man and one of a kind.”

Walter York wrote a sympathy message

“This world is a little less bright today because Jay Eudy is no longer in it, but Heaven is rejoicing because he finally came home. I only worked with Jay for a short two years, but the influence he had on my life has lasted for forty. I have used so much of what he taught me during that short two years to be a better supervisor, a better person, and a better mentor. To those who really knew Jay, he was the kind of man who earned your respect and loyalty almost instantly. I mourn his loss. WY”
