He is survived by: his father Dennis Coats; his wife Sarah Coats of Queen City, Texas; his stepmother Bonnie Coats of Queen City, Texas; his children, Bentley Cheney of Queen City, Lisa Rozier (Nicholas) of Ft. Worth and Timothy Atkins of Santa Fe, Texas; and his brothers, Dennis Wayne Coats (Cindy) of Claremore, Travis Coats of Chelsea and William Coats (Lisa) of Atlanta, Texas. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
