It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Chamblee of Queen City, Texas, who passed away on July 25, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. J. Smith and Cordie Smith; her husband Billy Chamblee; her sons, Joey Chamblee and Michael Chamblee; and her siblings, James Smith and Marjorie Seaman.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Cyndy Chamblee of Atlanta, Texas; her sister-in-law Barbara Smith of Queen City, Texas; and her grandchildren, Will Chamblee of Houston, Christina Parker (Jeff) of Queen City, Tonja Pool of Atlanta, Haley Chamblee of Atlanta and Misti Rainge (Jon) of Linden, Texas. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
