It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlie Dowden of Queen City, Texas, who passed away on July 7, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenard Dowden and Leora Mae Dowden (Webster); and his siblings, Jessie Dowden and Gwen Merriweather. He is survived by: his daughters, Kalila Dowden of Dallas, TX and Charlisha Williams (Randolph) of Desoto, TX; and his siblings, Darrell Dowden, Larry Dowden, Robert Dowden, Roy Lee Dowden, Stephanie Dowden, Janet McKinney, Helen Cooksey, Maxine Johnson and Pat Davis. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren.
