It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Alice Burgin (Queen City, Texas), who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Austin and Ruth Harriet Hines (Mattinson); her granddaughter Magan Vaughan; and her siblings, Lynn Hines and Donna Little.

She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Burgin (Barbara) of Yulee, FL, Keith Burgin of San Antonio, TX, Kevin Burgin (Rhonda) of Belton, TX, Katherine Humphries of Atlanta, TX, Theresa Splater (John) of Bivins, TX and Karin Gillette (Richard) of Atlanta, TX; her sisters, Barbara Odom of St Paul, VA and Janet Guizar of York, PA; and her grandchildren, Kenneth Paul Burgin Jr., April Tolley, Tiffany Humphries, Jeremy Kyle Burgin, Justin Vaughan, Crystal Bobbitt, Jessica James, Joshua Vaughan, Stormy Garcia, Ashley Early, Bridgette Parton, Blake McMinn, Kirsten McMinn, Madison Gillette, Emily Burgin and Ashton Tolson. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
