She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruben Essary and Marceline Glasscock Essary; her sisters, Kay Nelson and Cheryl Ryan; and her grandchildren, Kelsea Horton, Caden Horton and Madison Horton.
She is survived by: her children, Jason Lee Horton (Amy Green Horton) of Quanah and Kimberly Horton Schumacher (Jason Andrew Schumacher) of Dallas, Texas.; her husband Kenneth Lee Horton; her sons, Craig Horton (Kenni Marsalis) of Plainview and Chris Horton (Susan Morrissey) of Minco; her grandchildren, Cash Horton (Cale Horton), Kentlee Horton (Ashley Espraza), Emily Pendergrass (Hank Horton), Eli Horton (Ben Horton), Grace Horton (Leah Horton), Molly Horton (Josiah Horton), Ella Horton (Kate Horton), Kooper Horton (Case Horton), Kenna Mae Horton (Jack Schumacher) and Johnny Schumacher (Annie Schumacher); and her sisters, Lisa Leftwich (Tim), Terry Babcock (Dave) and Kim Babcock (Mike). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (601 S Main St, Quanah, TX 79252).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to North Groesbeck Church.
