He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul James Newsom and Evelyn Lantz Newsom; and his brothers, Gary and Randy Newsom. He is survived by: his children, Jamie Orr (David) of Amarillo, Shelby Parr (Grady) of Childress and Steven Newsom of Quanah; and his grandchildren, Connor Parr, Ansley Parr, Charles, Mary Nell Reynolds and Debbie Reynolds Gillespie.
