Jackie Gene Rine Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jackie Gene Rine of Quanah, Texas, who passed away on December 26, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Dewey Rine and Leola Jane McCain Rine; his wife Doris Whitfield; his children, Jackie Guy Rine, Dena Mae and Vickie Gene; and his siblings, Donnie Ray Rine, Bobby Wayne Rine and Joyce Maxine Mitchell.
He is survived by: his son James Rine (Billie) of Quanah; his grandchildren, Nicole Garcia (Ben), Dena Creel (John), Greg, Douglas Cearley and Kim McGregor (Thomas); and his brother James B. Rine of Quanah. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home (210 W 3rd St, Quanah, TX 79252). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (601 S Main St, Quanah, TX 79252). A burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at the Quanah Memorial Park.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
