He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Knox and Mary Edna Knox (Bursey); his wife Carolyn Sue Meason; and his sister Gail Brian. He is survived by: his children, Gary Knox (Rhonda) of Vernon, Stacy Halford (Dan) of Vernon and Molly Choat (Zachary) of Georgetown; his grandchildren, Kari Jo Ramsey (Rick) of Vernon, Randilyn Mayo (Nathan) of Vernon, Brian Knox, Reyna of Quanah, Zane Choat of Austin, Brady Jump, Madison of Vernon and Lindy Choat of Copperas Cove; and his sister Bettie Knox Bell of Crowell. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the First Methodist Church (1500 S Main St, Quanah, TX 79252).
