With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diane Waldo of Quanah, Texas, who passed away on August 22, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Diane's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Diane has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. D. Drake and Joyce Drake (White); her husband Boyd Waldo; and her son Christopher Caldwell. She is survived by: her daughter Shannon Sparkman of Quanah; and her grandchildren, Justin Caldwell of Wichita Falls, Brett Sparkman, Tracy of Quanah, Joshua Short, Ivy of North Carolina and Zachary Short of North Carolina.
The family suggests memorials be made to First Methodist Church, PO Box 397, Quanah, Texas 79252, where Diane was a member.
