She was predeceased by: her parents, Soledad Vasquez and Maria Faustina Vasquez (Granado); and her siblings, Manuel Vasquez, Saturnino Vasquez, Refugio Alvarado and Maria Soledad Aldama.
She is survived by: her children, Desi Castillo of Purdon, Anna Castillo of Purdon and Patty McCormick (Steve) of Dawson; her siblings, Joseph Vasquez (Patti) of Sunnyvale, Dolores Leos of Mesquite, Petra Collins (Jim) of Brenham and Josephine Gonzalez (Tino) of Capac, Michigan; her grandchildren, Austin Merrifaye McCormick and Hannah Hurtado of Corsicana; and her great grandchild LillyAnna Hurtado of Corsicana. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family members and friends.
