He is survived by: his mother Ann Umphred (Slessor) of Matthews, NC; his wife Sharon of Providence Village, TX; his son Kevin Umphred of Providence Village, TX; his stepdaughter Jennifer Fritz of Providence Village, TX; and his siblings, John Umphred (Janet) of Matthews, NC, Debbie Taggio (Anthony) and Patty Umphred.
