He is survived by: his former wife Lelia Mae Chase; his wife Jane McInnis Lange; his friend Butch Mallam; and his children, Richard H. Leavitt, Jr., Katharine A. Leavitt-Fowler, G. Reid Lange, Jr., Ann M. Lange and Sharon E. Warren. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
