It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ariel Leila Porter of Providence Village, Texas, born in Carrollton, Texas, who passed away on August 12, 2021, at the age of 17, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Dustin Porter (Alexandra) of Aubrey, Texas and Tasha Celeste Ghanfili (Nathan) of Providence Village; her siblings, Alexander of Providence Village, Aydan Porter of Providence Village, Camron Cotton of Bossier City, Louisiana and Cailey Cotton of Bossier City; her grandparents, Shaun Ghanfili of Rowlett, Delores Barthuly (Roger) of Dallas, Butch Porter of Tyler, Laura Oates of Tyler and Nancy Whitford of Dallas; and her great-grandparents, Merle Jean Bradford (Kenneth) of Greenville and Iran Rohanian of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Ariel contracted COVID-19, which led to her being admitted to the hospital on Aug. 1, 2021.
