He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Frederick and Mary Lou Funsch (Henderson); and his brothers, Dennis and Donald Funsch. He is survived by: his wife Alena Funsch of Princeton; his daughters, Shelly Gonzales (Vince) of Princeton, Ryan Rives (Chad) of Arlington and Erica McAnear (Walker) of Clarendon; and his grandchildren, A. J., Max Gonzales, Rylee, Rydlii, Rykyr Rives, Jaxan, Millie and Justus McAnear.
