He was predeceased by: his wife Abigail; his son Jesus Manuel; and his siblings, Anita Valenzuela, Cristina Alvidrez, Aurora Lujan and Salvador Salgado.
He is survived by: his daughter Abigail Aranda Salgado; his siblings, Elvira Valenzuela of Odessa, Socorro Armendariz of Odessa and Armando Salgado of Rocky Ford, Colorado.; his sons, Hector and Tomas; his sons-in-law, Beto Banuelos and Robert Halpern; his grandsons, Jaime Juarez and Enrico Columbus; and also Sammy Roman of Marfa. He is also survived by Papa also loved his family, his wife, his children, and all of his grandchildren.
