He is survived by: his daughter Valerie; his grandchildren, Alexis Gonzalez (Jacinto), Jabryl Peterson, Morgan Bailey and Kevin Kyle Bailey; his great grandchildren, Alandrus A. Peterson and Jabreana Peterson; his daughter-in-law Rhonda Peterson; and his siblings, Rosie Lee Moore, Audrey Brown, Hattie Marsh, Cutie Marshall and Willie Robinson (Thana). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
