We are sad to announce that on December 14, 2023, at the age of 74, William Ethel Layton of Powderly, Texas, born in Jackson, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, J. H. Layton and Elma Lee McNeese Layton; his sister Shirley Layton; and his daughter Anita Gordon. He is survived by: his wife Paula Layton; his children, Denise Moore, James Layton (Christina Gordon) and Clifford Layton (Amber); and his sisters, Brenda Lane (Jeff) and Patricia Eden (David). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
