It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyndal Vance Sloan Jr. (Powderly, Texas), who passed away on September 15, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyndal Vance and Doris Sloan; his brother Rev. Ron Sloan; his sister-in-law Rhea Sloan; his sister Cheryl Oeastman; his grandson Aaron Hughes; his niece Katelyn Green; and his nephew Isaac Herndon.
He is survived by: his former spouse Marion Susan Cook; his wife Sue Sloan; his children, Ron Sloan (Karol), Susan Hughes (Barry) and Rick Sloan (Sharry); and his sister Pat Brown (Bob).
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Platinum Hospice by requesting donations to be made to the hospice organization in lieu of flowers, if you should so choose.
