He was predeceased by: his parents, Wes Tom and Nell Johnson; and his siblings, Kerry Jenkins, Jerry Johnson, Dale Johnson and Gayle Pritchett.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his children, Debbie Hill of Detroit, Patti Haley (Kenneth) of Rugby, Rocky Johnson of Powderly and Shannon Johnson (Candace) of Paris, Texas.; his grandchildren, Melanie, Steaven Lee, Brandi, Cody Upchurch, Cameron Haley, Julia, Nathan Homer, Andrew, Meagan Johnson, Nick Johnson, Ashton (Alexis Johnson), Peyton and Teagan Johnson; his great grandchildren, Olivia, DJ, Eli, Braylin, Tripp, Leona, Mary, Amanda, Landan, Gavin and Tansley; his great great grandchildren, Zaedan and Addilyn; and his brother Kenneth Johnson of Grand Prairie.
