He was predeceased by: his daughter Karyn Douglas Erisman; his parents, Walter Douglas and Ellie Douglas; and his siblings, Scott Douglas, Louise Day and Helen Exum.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Bullard Douglas; his children, Wayne (Pat Borland-Douglas), Debra (Larry Kersh), Craig (Wendy Douglas) and Donna (Keith Carpenter); his siblings, Robert Douglas (RL) of Powderly, Joe Douglas (JC) of Sulphur Springs, Texas and Polly Morris of Powderly, Texas; and his grandsons, Zac Erisman, Cole Erisman, John Michael Carpenter, Jacob Watson and Zachary Watson. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
