It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Murphy of Powderly, Texas, born in Millerton, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 9, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Hurchel Winston Murphy; and his siblings, Charles, Mike, Jan and Bernice.
He is survived by: his wife Fredda Murphy; his children, Justin D. Murphy (Jessica Rooks Murphy) of Brownwood, Texas, Tracy Mills (Ronnie Mills) of Idabel and Holly Coffman (Todd Coffman) of Valliant; his grandson Jonathan Murphy (Amber Murphy); his great grandchild Parker Murphy of Brownwood; his grandsons, Jason Murphy of Brownwood and Zachary Coffman (Jamie Coffman); his great grandchildren, Brayden and Beau Coffman of Dewey, Oklahoma; and his grandson Chad Coffman of Valliant.
