It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hollis Henderson Shoemake of Powderly, Texas, born in Boswell, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 6, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Clark Shoemake and Irene Stillwell Shoemake; his son Michael Robert Shoemake; his sister Carolyn Rich; and his great grandchild Peyton Patrick Lucido.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Ann Ogden; his son Stan Shoemake (Velmajean); his grandchildren, Courtnye Dixon (Bill), Britnye Kincy (Barry), Andrew Hollis Shoemake, Robert John Sawyer, Victoria Rebecca Sawyer and Summer Roxanne Merrill (John); his siblings, Marvin Shoemake (Joann), John Shoemake (Sherry) and Linda Herndon (Jimmy); and his brother-in-law Bob Rich.
