Mackey of Powderly, Texas, born in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, who passed away on August 29, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvel E. Mackey Sr. and Louise Kimmons; and his stepfather Robert M. Kimmons. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca; his brothers, Robert K. Kimmons (Michele) and Joseph Lucas (Marjorie); and his children, Robert Mackey (Marie), Katy Mackey (Chris Klug), Charlie Scaff (Janet), Donald Scaff and Shiena McClanahan. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren, his 6lb guard dog.
