She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Saffell and Ruby Tribble Saffell; her brother Ted Saffell; her former husband Max Turner; and her husband James Cecil Berryhill.

She is survived by: her former husband Stanley Abbott; her children, Brandon Abbott (Dorothy) and Rebecca Peevy (Alex); her grandchildren, Melissa Abbott, Gabriel Abbott and Emily Futral; her sister-in-law Julia Saffell; and her nephews, Cameron Saffell and Justin Saffell.
