It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roger Mercer of Pottsboro, Texas, born in Dodd City, Texas, who passed away on April 11, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Mercer and Hazel Mercer; and his brother Eddie King. He is survived by: his wife Nita Mercer; his children, Michael Mercer, Russell Berry and Julia Berry; his siblings, Don Coker, Nora Yost, Helen Jeffcoats and Mark Knell; and his grandchildren, Knox and Maclane Mercer.
