He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Steelsmith and Dorothy Steelsmith; and his son Robert Arthur Steelsmith. He is survived by: his wife Brenda; and his children, Barbara Robertson, Betty Johnson (Greg), Brian Steelsmith (Mariana) and Bradley Steelsmith (Alice). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, his children and grandchildren.
