With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorene B. Pearson of Pottsboro, Texas, who passed away on August 28, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Adam McAlister and Effie Mae Pickens McAlister; her husband John Pearson; her son John "Allen" Pearson; and her siblings, Oliver, Alfred, Everett, Vernon McAlister and Mildred Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Norma J. Mercer (Dennis) and Robert Pearson (Sandra); her daughter-in-law Donna Pearson; her grandchildren, Lance Pearson, Scott Bates, Andrea McCormack and Jeremy Pearson; her stepgranddaughter Melissa Ferrarro; her great grandchildren, Lauren Small, Addison Bates, Mason McCormack, Connor McCormack, Audrey and Grant Pearson; her stepgreat-granddaughters, Nicole Allen and Peyton Morales; and her great great grandchild Theo Small (R. J. Allen).
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to the Georgetown Baptist Church Building Fund.
