She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Seat-Shires and Opal Seat-Shires; her husband Delbert Hughes; her son Ronnie Hughes; her siblings, Johnnie Gibson (Bill), Dorothy Scibek (John), Beverly Gastineau, Barbara Shires and Joe Shires; and her son-in-law Jim Christman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Garrett Christman (late Jim Christman), Donna White (Jim) and Lou Ann Walson (Randy); her son-in-law Roy Garrett; her brother Bob Shires (Pat); and her grandchildren, Amy Householder (Jeff), Sunny Mackey (Nick), Jessica McKinney (Josh), Emily Perkins and Aaron Walson (Lacy). She is also survived by great-grandchildren and one (1) great-great grandson and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
