He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Homer and Ila Ollie Mae Barnett (Ables); his daughter Carol Adams; and his siblings, Ray Barnett and Winnie Delores Barnett.
He is survived by: his significant other Julia Hill; his children, Cynthia Stagner of Pottsboro, Michael Barnett of Pottsboro, Lori Dee (Kenny) of Rowlett, Lisa Griffin (Larry Burchett) of Denison and Sharon Edwards (George) of Pottsboro, Texas; his grandchildren, Dr. William Stagner (Chloe), Amanda Morgan (Brian), Brandon Bullard (Tena), Stuart Barnett, Ashley Dee, Sam Dee, Mallory Smith (Neal) and Nick Edwards (Kristina); his great grandchildren, Julia, Jack, Jessi Morgan, Anna, Leah Bullard, Gabriel, Noah Smith and Ember Vincent; and his sister Ila Ruano. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
