He was predeceased by: his parents, Celadina Valadez Arevalos and Louis "Chito" Arevalos; his sister Elva Arevalos; his nephew Joshua Lee Arevalos; and his brother-in-law Sam Garcia Jr. (Ruben).
He is survived by: his sons, Justin and James Arevalos; his siblings, Minnie Nunez (Tony), Louis Arevalos Jr. (Mary Jane), Patricia Garcia and Randy Arevalos (Melissa); his close friend Jessica Fitzsimmons; and his friend Dr Ginger Coleman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
