It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcus Paul Pawelek (Poth, Texas), born in Karnes City, Texas, who passed away on April 18, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcyjana Drzymala and Gabriel Pawelek; his wife Kathleen Janysek Pawelek; and his siblings, Alvin Pawelek and JoAnn Pawelek.

He is survived by: his daughters, RayAnn Mahler (Fred) and Katie Pawelek (Gene Cortez); and his grandchildren, DaMarcus "DJ" Scott, Jadyn Scott, Jaxon Scott, Cotton Mahler, Corbyn Mahler and Kaitlyn Cortez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
