She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Pena and Aurora Molina Pena; her husband John Serna, Jr.; and her children, Ernest Serna, Levi Serna and Adela Alaniz.
She is survived by: her children, Martha Ruth Serna (Rita) of John Serna, III, Ruel Serna, Laura Serna, Jennifer Moss (John) and Gabriel Serna; and her children-in-law, Magdalena Serna and Alfredo Alaniz. She is also survived by numerous Siblings, Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren.
