He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Leon Eli and Geneva Josephine Eli (Newman); his former wife Dorothy Ruth McQuay Eli; his son Jack Eli, Jr.; and his sister Frances Arlene Ando.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Eli; his children, Rebekah Friday (Steve) and Mark Eli; and his stepchildren, Karen Morales (John) and Sam "Skipper" Jansky (Barbara). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
