He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine Wauters and Emil Wauters of San Antonio; his siblings, John Wauters (Clara) and Emily Wauters Moeller (Jim); and his granddaughter Rebecca Wauters.
He is survived by: his wife Hilda V. Wauters; his children, Diane Purdy (Tom), Keith Wauters, Jerry Wauters (Sheila), Larry Wauters (Laurie), Kevin Wauters (Jeanean), Randy Wauters (Ursula) and Melissa Stavinoha (George); and his grandchildren, Dustin Sultenfuss, Brandon Wauters, Andrea Speaker, Paul Michael Wauters, Justin Wauters, Zachary Wauters, Amanda Wauters, Danielle Wauters, Jacob Wauters, Ethan Wauters, Kayleigh Zidek, Lexi Zaiontz, Amber, Alyssa, Addison and Aiden Stavinoha. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and numerous family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church or Texas A&M Association of Former Students.
