She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Kolodziej Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Stobbs Kolodziej; her husband Ben; her parents-in-law, Benjamin and Theresa Pawelek; her brothers, Benjamin Jr. and Edward Kolodziej; her siblings-in-law, Katherine P. Kroll, Bernadine Soberoski, Ester Rita Jarzombek, Otto Kroll, Chester Jarzombek and Edward Soberoski Sr.; her daughter-in-law Michelle Pawelek; her nephews, Tomy Kroll Jr. and Ed Soberoski Jr.; her niece Carolyn Kroll; her great-niece Tammy Kroll; and her stepgrandson J. T. Tarro.
She is survived by: her children, Betty and Ben; her great grandchild Olivia Grace; her children, Patsy Kroll, Charlie Pawelek (Charla), Kathy Zunker (Anthony), Cindy Pawelek (Fred Schwartz), Barbara Grothues (Gary) and Jeffery Pawelek (Mary); her grandchildren, Dr. Clayton Rutkowski, Macy Pawelek Gardipee (Kyler), Kimberly Kroll (Cory Black), Megan Burson (Colby), Taryn Pawelek, Logan Pawelek, Amber Pawelek, Steven Grothues and Alison Grothues; her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Mason Burson, Olivia Grace Gardipee, Chandra Donahue (Sean), Max Korczynski (Jillian), Josh Korczynski (Rachael) and Alyssa Hughes; her siblings, Robert Kolodziej and Nell Rose Guerrero; her children, Janie and Richard Mutz; her nieces and nephews, Theresa Soberoski, Suzy Soberoski and Keith Jarzombek (JoAnn); her great-niece Brittany (Ryan) of Tomy Kroll, III.; and also, Conleigh, Cian, Grayson, Wyatt, Claire and Dennis Jarzombek.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Betty's memory to the Falls City Volunteer Fire Department.
