It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miguel G. Alaniz Jr. of Poteet, Texas, born in Charlotte, Texas, who passed away on December 14, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Miguel Alaniz and Inez Alaniz (Garza); and his brothers, Antonio Alaniz and Rogelio Alaniz. He is survived by: his wife Rosalinda Alaniz; his daughters, Annette Garza (Rudy), Lisa Bueno (Ruben) and Christa Gonzalez (Patrick); and his sister Georgia Koch (Jim) of Colorado. He is also survived by 7 grandsons, 5 granddaughters and 17 great grandchildren.
