It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lorene Betty Tabberer of Poteet, Texas, who passed away on March 18, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Schultz and Agnes Schultz (Koenning) of Floresville; and her husband Robert Tabberer. She is survived by: her children, Bobby Tabberer and Judy Foster; her grandchildren, Randall Foster, Stephanie, Ashley Foster (Gilbert), Cheyanne Gomez and Eddie; and her great grandchildren, Carson, Hunter, Blake, Mason and Paisley. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Additionally, Lorene donated her time for 40 plus years to the Atascosa County Livestock Show concession stand, worked at the Atascosa Livestock Auction Café for many years cooking and serving homemade food, and catering local events.
