He was predeceased by: his parents, Tranquilino Mexico (Augustina Herrera) and Zacatecas Mexico; his daughter Blanca Estella; and his siblings, Claudio Herrera and Gabino Herrera.
He is survived by: his wife Dorotea Campos; his children, William Limon (Jaxira), Rudy Limon (Kasey), Teodoro Carmona (Adriana), Dahlia Kenley (John) and Eliseo Herrera; and his siblings, Hermelinda Herrera (Martin Gonzalez), Heraclio Herrera (Elizabeth), Jose Herrera (Susana), Nery Herrera (Oscar Garay) and Alejandro Sanchez (Yadira Juare). He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
