He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton Sanger and Virginia Sanger; and his former wife Victoria. He is survived by: his wife Maryann Wilkinson Sanger; his daughters, Heather Sanger and April Sanger Courtney; his son-in-law David Courtney; his grandchildren, Olivia, Martin Ramsey, Maxwell, Morgan and Logan Courtney; his siblings, Betty Campbell, Nancy Ratcliffe and Thomas Sanger; and his brother-in-law J. C. Ratcliffe.
The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations to First Baptist Church of Poteet be given, in support of the ministry that Carl's life so much embodied.
