He is survived by: his significant other Maria Montes; and his children, Rodrigo Montes (Esmeralda), Benjamin Montes Jr. (Ilda), Gustavo Montes (Josefina), Elvira Villafuerte (Jose Juan), Felipa Montes (Rey Mundo), Margarita Smith (David), Rosalinda Duran (Rodrigo) and Maria Velasquez (Pablo). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
