She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Daniel King and Opal Marie Bell; her husband Omar Lee Sikes; and her children, Michael Robert Sikes and Deborah Marie Lowhorn.

She is survived by: her son Matthew Sikes (Denise) of Poteet, TX. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
