He is survived by: his wife Minerva "Minnie" Bruce; his daughter Carol Sue Aguirre; his grandsons, Jacob Valencia, Matthew Valencia Sr. (Toni) and Landis Ferrell; his great grandchildren, Matthew Valencia Jr. and Ryhan Valencia; and his siblings, Ernest Harrison (Helen) and Kay Smith (Greg).
