With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mike Rios Morin of Portland, Texas, born in Taft, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 19, 2024 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cristina Morin (Rios) and Zeferino Morin; and his sisters, Angelmira Henderson and Nori Morin Serna. He is survived by: his wife Mattie Lee; his children, Mike Jr. (Lisa), Melvin, Monica (Brian) and Mark; his grandsons, Austin Morin, Mike Morin III, Matthew Morin, Randy Morin and Zachary Morin; and his great grandchild Milo Morin. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren along with numerous extended family members and friends.
