We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2025, at the age of 87, Etta Mae Battle of Portland, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Etta Mae departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Etta Mae. Though Etta Mae may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Mitchell and Carrie McNeill Mitchell. She is survived by: her husband James E. Battle, Jr.; her children, Steven Jerome Battle and Sharon JoAnne Daniels (Terence Daniels); and her granddaughter Carrie Denise Daniels.
A graveside service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Seaside Memorial Park (4357 Ocean Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78412).
