She was predeceased by: her husband Charles E. Avant Sr.; and her siblings, J. A. of Dud, R. F., Jake, Bill, Lenore, Minnie, Tommie, Naomi, Alma, Lois and Mattie Sue.
She is survived by: her children, Charles E. Avant Jr. (Gayla) of Portland, Texas and Vicki A. Krebs (David) of Portland, Texas.; her grandsons, Erik Avant (Christina) of Lott, Matthew Krebs and Jeffrey Krebs (Kayla) of Portland, Texas; her great grandchildren, Halee, Cody Avant of Lott, Jaxon, Rylee, Emalynn, Juliette and Nicolette Krebs of Portland; her brother James Lowrie (Loretta) of San Antonio; and her siblings-in-law, Bill Baldwin and Wanda Lowrie.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to 1st Baptist Church in Portland, Texas.
