Charles C. Petty Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles C. Petty of Portland, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Charles is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Charles' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He is survived by: his wife Olaine; his children, Colin (Brenda), Robert (Mindy) and Megan (Joe Brown); and his grandchildren, Chase Petty, Caylor Petty, Addolyn Petty, Olivia Brown and Molly Brown. He is also survived by two sisters and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Winsteads' Funeral Home (500 Wildcat Dr, Portland, TX 78374).
Throughout his military service, he received various medals recognizing his dedication and contributions to his country.
